Dwyane Wade watches his shot in the third quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers during Game 2 of their first-round matchup.

On a night that saw Dwyane Wade turn back the clock, the veteran Miami Heat guard gave credit to Kevin Hart’s heckling for inspiring his playoff performance.

Coming off the bench, the 36-year-old scored 28 points to help the Heat snap the Philadelphia 76ers’ 17-game winning streak with a 113-103 road victory to tie up their first-round series at a game apiece.

He did so with comedian and Philly native Kevin Hart barking from courtside at Wells Fargo Center most of the night. At one point he even dished it back to Hart and former 76er Allen Iverson after hitting a jumper to seal the victory.

After the game, Wade credited Hart for helping motivate him.

He first mentioned Hart during an on-court interview with ESPN, wrapping up that interview by saying “I like the Dwyane Wade I’ve seen tonight.”

He later returned to Hart during his post-game media session.

“When you got people like Kevin Hart talking on the sideline, when you got the crowd saying all the things they’re saying, I heard a lot of things tonight, and it’s all used as motivation,” Wade told reporters. “To be able to hush a whole crowd, that’s a great feeling.”

The war of words between the two didn’t stop when the game ended either. Hart tweeted “see you in Miami” and “It’s not over” to Wade, who responded with his own tweet back.
