Your May 21 editorial says: “There’s no place for controversy at graduation.” Yet, school management at Bethune–Cookman “persisted in inviting” the “reviled” secretary of Education to speak. Unsurprisingly black students turned their backs and booed Ms. DeVos. At Skidmore, management “forced down the collective graduates throats” a “big-name” speaker to “show off,” Ms. Oprah Winfrey.
